for a final presentation for my year of teacher training. I silk printed this line on 400 cards, and asked 400 grade 6 and 8 students to turn this line into something in 5 minutes. This video shows the results.
I bound the cards as a book, which will be up shortly.

Here is the book! A single line which I silk printed on cards, was transformed by 400 middle school students. The drawings were categorized into vertical and horizontal, and so the book opens both ways. The horizontal side opens as an accordion which extends out about 5 meters. Every single page can be viewed here!

I am editing a short Video clip for an Arts night at the middle school where I am currently placed to teach. The students were asked to write a sentence about what Art is, to be added to the video, like silent movie. This one is my favorite, by a grade 6 student.

I forgot to update my completed 2012 sketchbook project. It will be coming back to toronto on tour in July! I would love to do this project with a class one year, and get my students involved. you can view most of this book here.
My Fiction project (a more fictional sketchbook) from last year has also been digitized and updated, you can flip through, read and see it here.

Possibly unfinished watercolor “innies and outties” All I want is a studio, and time to focus. I don’t like to share my drawing table with lesson plans and giant textbooks.

So tierd of having unfinished work and teachers college right now.
